I'm planning on putting a couple of shows on in Brighton next term but I'm not really sure where to start. Do I just ask people that run small venues if I could use them for the night? How much money should I expect to lose? If anyone could draw up a sort of putting on gigs for dummies type thing I'd be very appreciative. Also, does anyone know of any likely locations in Brighton? I was thinking the Prince Albert/upstairs at The Hope.
