I don't understand how the increased access to video production has killed the music video

Have you noticed that music videos are rare now from 'established' artists?

Mayeb this is linked to the death of teh single and it's not worth pouring money into somethins that isn;t going to drive sales anymore.

But you'd think middling 'indie' bands would have a go but now they have withdrawn too.

Maybe its that old 80s "no video sellout" sneering attitude creeping back in, you know just when youtube has become the main mediium fro grime releases now.
