The Twilight Sad - No One Can Ever Know

flackcaptain [Edit] [Delete] 23:01, 2 April '12

Been meaning to start a thread on this for a while to gauge other opinion on it.

I always found TTSs distorted guitars a tad off putting on their first 2 albums. They just seemed to blast it out at inopportune moments, drowning everything else that was going on. I found that aspect alone really put me off returning to their music.

Using the distortion more sparingly and bringing the vocals up in the mix suits them so much more and showcases what a fine vocalist Graham is.

Without doubt my favourite album of the year (so far of course) and one that I think stands head and shoulders above anything TTS have done to date.

Am I alone in thinking this?
