WORLD SANGUINE REPORT
Part demonic vaudeville, part psychotic big band, vocalist/guitarist Andrew Plummer revels and writhes in the macabre as he heads his World Sanguine Report through visceral tales from the dark side of life, love and death. Propelled by demented carny rhythms, Plummer's bruised, gruff vocals and darkly-enthralling lyrics are enveloped in a tide of swirling tones and textures, with the constant threat of breaking into waves of cacophany. Tonight, the new WSR line-up will be serving up material from their forthcoming album 'Skeleton Blush' and some choice cuts from Plummer's first three albums.

James Allsopp: Bari. Sax, Bass Clarinet
Alex Bonney: Trumpets
Matt Bourne: Piano, Rhodes and analogue synths
Ruth Goller: Elec. Bass, Vocals
Tom Greenhalgh: Drums
Me: Vocals and Elec. Guitar.

'A natural successor to the most out-there experimental mindwarps of early seventies British jazz and rock.' ROCK-A-ROLLA

'Imagine Mark Anthony-Turnage performed at a Weimar cabaret.' JAZZWISE

‘Twists the noble craft of songwriting into a dystopian mindf**k.’ THE WIRE

GLOCKENSPIEL
Glockenspiel are hypnotic & entrancing & manage to be so with a 'less is more' aesthetic. Intensely meditative & ambient textures build swirling melodies that orbit your head until you finally give in to the sonic splendor. Rich emotional depths, adding so much contrast it's heartbreaking, highlight the more insular drones.

Adrian Dollemore: Elec. Guitar
Steve d'Enton: Drum Kit

'They are very dream like & fascinating. Similar to being in the middle of a fog bank having totally lost your sense of direction' MATS GUSTAFSOM

'Glockenpiel's sound is warm, full & lush, taking the listener on a wonderfully cerebral journey through a vast & unique soundscape' ROUGH TRADE
