Title kinda says it all - can anyone recommend some good recording studios? I'm in a band and we're looking to record two tracks, with around £1k budget. We've recorded various places before but want to try something totally fresh. We know some really good studios that we'd like to try at some point but they are coming in at more the £2k+ range for 2 songs.

We're London based so preferably not millions of miles away from there. Also somewhere that actually works with bands based on what they sound like. Had horrible experiences with studios essentially cutting and pasting settings from past sessions regardless of the band's sound.
