Hey all, Mark Gardener is doing a solo tour for the 20th anniversary of Going Blank Again and is playing all the hits from that and Nowhere and some of his solo material. Sounds like it could be a great gig. I'm a huge fan of shoegaze and Ride are one of my favourite bands, and the shoegaze giants NEVER come to NZ so I was wondering if any of you had seen him live before and if he was any good?

One thing that worries me is that in this advertisement it says it's an 'acoustic tour' http://i.imgur.com/a6WJ7.png . Does this imply it's just going to be him with an acoustic guitar, sort of an unplugged kinda deal? Or am I being an idiot? It doesn't mention in any of the press releases that this will be acoustic, just in this advertisement, so I'm hoping this will actually be an ear-exploding juggernaut of sound that will take me weeks to recover from.
