a lyric question

-gen- [Edit] [Delete] 03:42, 27 September '05
a few years ago, back in the days when they used to play Blue Jam at midnight on radio 1, mary ann hobbs used to play a song. i don't know who it was by, or what it was called. but it was dark and creepy, and had a man sternly intoning words over it, including the likes of: "there was a pinhole in 97% of the bodies! this was not a mass suicide! it was a mass murder!"

this song haunts me.

can anyone tell me what it is? for all i know, it could be blindingly obvious, or startlingly obscure. HELP.

mr traynor, perhaps this is one for your expertise!
