A week on sunday I'm somehow headlining this show near Old Street where the lineup consists of
* A samba band
* A funky upbeat soul/ska band
* Spoken word/performance art jazz
* Myself doing Proper Harsh Noise (can't promise it will deal with proper emotions or be a credit to the UK tho :D)

I like playing to non-'noise' audiences* so it should be fun. ^_^ I usually get more a interesting, enthusiastic and thoughtful responses from the usual jaded noise scenesters at this kind of show, tho in this case i fear my friends and fellow The A Band members the Protagonists of David Gadsdon may form a buffer zone filtering out the truly unsuspecting who might have turned up for the earlier acts and not stay for mine. :)

What's the most unlikely/diverse lineup you've experienced, in a good or bad way?

This one goes from samba drumming with the 8+ piece Bloco Maluco from south London, to spoken/sung jazz crunch Protagonists of David Gadsdon, then to the tongue-in-cheek summeriness and dubby soul of Fuzzy Logic Baby, and ends with circuit bent penultimate nerve jamming from Cementimenal! I CANT WAIT BABY± _><*^!
