The Isolationist (1999)
I've never met anyone who has heard of this album IRL; never thought to to a DiS test before - surely some of you have it?
If not, it's fucking immense.
A whole album of DJ Vadim with Anti-Pop Consortium before they blew up (kind of). Oh and Prime Cuts. I think it deserves a LOT more props than it gets: some really atmospheric samples and sounds (there was blurb on the back of the LP about it being some kind of concept album about strange sounds or something, I think) and deep, minimalist beats. Or something.
Anyway, hopefully I'm preaching to the choir.
