(Very) Thinly-veiled references in lyrics (Or: How Did They Get Away With It?)

Fullstop [Edit] [Delete] 14:52, 4 September '12

Just heard Please Please Me on the radio and found myself listening to the lyrics properly for the first time:
- Last night I said these words to my girl / I know you never even try girl / Come on, come on / Please please me like I please you

Got me thinking that back in the day, sex & drugs references had to be much more subtle. A couple more spring to mind - Led Zep discussing a period of celebacy: - It's been a long time since I rock and rolled / It's been a long time since I did the Stroll / Open your arms, let my love come running in / It's been a long time, been a long time, Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
Presley discussing anal sex in prison: - Number 47 said to number 3 / You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see / I sure would be delighted with your company / Come on and do the jailhouse rock with me

Any other examples?
