Changes to songs for commercial/non-artistic reasons that have actually improved them.

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 17:30, 16 September '12

I heard New Order's True Faith for the first time in ages yesterday.

Apparently the line *When I was a very small boy, very small boys talked to me. Now that we've grown up together they're afraid of what they see* originally ended with *they're all taking drugs with me.* but they changed it to get more radio airplay.

I really think the changed line is way more powerful.

Which other songs have been changed for commercial reasons but actually improved as a result?
