Whist it was clearly bettered by 'It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back' is the Hip Hop album that got Rap moving to an extent that those kinds of progressions are now impossible. It is Public Enemy's 2nd best album but it deserves a lot more credit. The Beastie Boys are more loveable and musically moved on a lot more giving them a wider spectrum and N.W.A startled the world but the whole N.W.A. / Dr. Dre (and even Eminem) would not have been possible without this album?
