Does anyone else think the recent ATP curators have been a bit too SAFE?

buzzard55 [Edit] [Delete] 21:15, 2 February '13

I haven't been for a few years. Mainly because there hasn't been a curator and line up that has interested me. The choices just seem a bit too safe? Same bands, same types of bands, mixing around. And the new curators they have chosen have been bands that appeal to a wider audience.

Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough but I think someone like Jim o'Rourke curating might bring something a bit more interesting and challenging.

Or do you think those days are long gone, and this is the natural result of ATP trying to appeal to a bigger demographic, rather than go more niche?
