Conor Oberst - Barbican Centre thoughts

mookon [Edit] [Delete] 10:09, 5 February '13

The Big Picture worked really well nice to hear that live.
Going for Gold was amazing when he kept screaming "sounds like a lie" over and over
Loved Cape Canaveral and Ariennete...all of them!! At The Bottom of Everything was great with the electric guitar. You are your mothers child is beautiful and Breezy is heart breaking...
Never really liked the Monsters of Folk stuff but Map of the World sounded good.
Liked it when he got everyone to join in with the "La la la" at the end of Laura Laurent....An Attempt to Tip the Scales and A Waste of Paint!!!!

He was complaining of insomnia...he was scoring his tracks and giving them 5 and 3 out of 10.....the other bloke playing the glockenspiel was great liked when he used the violin bow to play it he was doing that on the guitar as well which sounded +...the women on violin had a cracking voice.....the duet on Lua was nice...the audience seemed receptive from where i was sitting....
