So how good are these 'gift cards' you can buy online in order to purchase Japanese bonus tracks on iTunes?

Violator [Edit] [Delete] 12:53, 28 May '13

There's a few bonus tracks I would like to get me 'ands on and no one has streamed them online for me to rip (or at least just listen to) and of course, I can't buy the them from iTunes store myself unless I have a credit card with an address in the land of the rising sun.

I have read that you can buy a 'gift card' or something on-line from certain organisations based in japan which are worth quite a few yen and you can use them. Has anyone tried them or does anyone know of anything else one can do short of getting a pen pal?
