Be particularly interested to hear from anyone who discovered them before John Grant's recent prominence, as that's how I found them. Always found it interesting that Grant's troubles were somewhat brought about by the band's lack of real success; obviously huge album sales would be out of their grasp...but they should at least be as big as Low, imo.

Favourite of their six (if you include the brilliant covers album) LPs? I found Goodbye to be the most immediate but I think The Ugly People vs. The Beautiful People is a genuine classic now.
