Your gigs of the year?

Lo-Pan [Edit] [Delete] 12:00, 21 November '13

In light of the numerous albums of the year thread i was wondering what you good people would rate as your bestest gigs of 2013 thus far?
1) Arcade Fire - Barrowlands (sat night)
Just a truly incredible gig, utterly euphoric, great fun with a fucking awesome atmosphere. For a band playing probably 90% new material that is no mean feat and the dressing up totally added to the occasion. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face for ages afterwards! A very special gig indeed.

2) The Cribs - Edinburgh picture house
A fucking proper messy, jump about, beer going all over the place, crowd surfing kind of a gig. Just brilliant fun.

3) St Vincent & David Byrne - Glasgow royal concert hall
A glorious gig, a great mix of both their back catalogues and the record they did together. As much a performance piece as it was a gig, amazing chemistry between the two and the rest of the band. For a seated gig we spent most of the night dancing in the aisles! Fucking excellent!
