Songs which you like because they're not about anything overly serious

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 11:16, 16 January '14

I like hip hop when it's not about the usual themes (racism, police, bling, 'bitches', shooting etc).

Was thinking of a couple of examples in particular where this was especially true.

Aesop Rock's 'Racing stripes' is about his mate Camu who got a mental haircut to get his landlord to think he was a nutter and leave him alone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52d1CcpEEl8

And People Under The Stairs' 'Anotha (BBQ)' is seemingly about finding the endless stream of summer outdoor eating a bit dull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0mXQPF8Vp0

So, what songs do you like because they're different to the genre norm? Have you got a country and western song you adore because it's about Tetris?
