in the last year or so i've got into (bedroom) djing. would really like to actually get booked somewhere at some point in the future, has anyone on here had any experience with this around london? am i wasting my time trying to get in touch with promoters, is it literally just a case of having to know the right people? my previous experience with promoters has only ever been when i've been playing with bands, but i imagine it's quite different trying to get booked as a dj.
