Apart from the obvious? I'm really enjoying the Whitney album to be fair...but I slightly resent the general perception it's a "retro" record.

It seems like it's a genre on the way out...bands are now embracing more electronic influences (Local Natives/Wild Beasts) or have a more lo-fi aesthetic (Car Seat Headrest). To my ears it still has a lot of legs though.

Can any DiSsers recommend me any current lush indie I've tried to very clumsily describe above?
