Right, the English bands thread demonstrates that England is shit and Scotland are right to want cultural independence (if nothing else). Ignoring that piece of political nonsense, what bands from the last ten years confirm this to be the case.
PS Not Scottish and can't be arsed to do Welsh.
PPS I'm going to define 'great' as at least three critically lauded albums in the last ten years, which pretty well screws most of the suggestions in the English thread.
