Anyone off to the opening night tonight? Should be a good 'un, methinks. I'm looking forward to seeing all three bands.

I've a feeling that the opening of this place is pretty much the end of Northumbria Uni as a popular gig venue though. Given that it has 2 rooms of similar size to those at the uni, and the corporate oomph behind it, I'd expect that most touring bands are going to be more tempted to the nice shiny new venue...
