wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 20:30, 19 November '05

Was bought by wrightylew on Wednesday.

First impressions of it were, despite being pleased with it, I found it much more 'hardcore' or 'metally' or whatever word you'd use, than Worlds Apart.

Now after seeing Pitchfork give it 10 and you lot praise it to hell, I wasn't expecting... 'metal'. I have to say on first few listens, I prefer Worlds Apart. It seems much more melodic and mixed up throughout.

Saying that, I can see this has got potential to be a massive grower. I find that with more melodic (or radio-friendly) albums get much more tiresome to listen to (ie. A Certain Trigger compared with Antics).

I wanna know why everyone loves it so much, so that I can appreciate it (for what it potentially is).
