I've had another listen to 'Rehearsing My Choir' and suddenly it sounds so much better than at first. Much more like an honest pop record rather than an interesting but ultimately self indulgent exercise. Genuinely compelling, funny, touching, innovate, melodic record. Fab.

I should have had more faith. I found 'Blueberry Boat' tough going at first but it's now one of my favourite albums ever.

I fucking love the Fiery Furnaces. Best band going right now.

I'm practically drooling at the idea of the new 'song' album in the new year.
