Cadence weapon - breaking kayfabe

I'ma probably being a bit hasty with this as I only got it yesterday evening but I've not played anything else since then this is just so good. Musical project of stylusmagazine/ILM contributor rollie pemberton, this is sharp in pretty much every aspect - A perfect cohesion of beats,rhymes and life. centerpiece 'turning on yr sign' may just be perfect and with a song called 'grim fandango' how can you go wrong?

Dangerdoom - The mouse and the mask

It's gotta be said from the outset - not only is doom far from his best, but the mouses' tapestries just don't quite gel to me. Nevertheless, this is an MF DOOM record and thus all criticism is baically pointless. SUCK IT

Edan - beauty and the beat

Beauty and the beat saw rap's favourite jew-boy discovering rock and thank FUCK he did, because this is just triple-AAA superclass. About a million memes brought together by the man who "wears the Time Meridian as a wristband.". This is DARK And BEAUTIFUL and BRILLIANT. Lovely swirly colours

Roll deep - In at the deep end

They may notta taken off like some people have expected...But this album stands up tall. Caught somewhere between light and dark, a chaotic brilliant mess

Percpetionists - black dialogue

Straight up hip-hop done pretty much PERFECTLY. Passion and care make an album that feels like it shoulda been an event. Plus, joy divsion samples. HOW ace?
