I just had a download orgy. I decided to check out these acts who I'd seen mentioned or seen live, but never bothered to listen to properly.

Cat power - Beautiful music
Infadels - Awesome electro-acid-noise loving this so far
Mew - M'eh
Bearsuit - WTF? Why does anyone like this band?
Clap your hands say yeah - They're ok aren't they, might be a grower.
Calexico - err, they sound a bit like boring bits of mansun, but even boring bits of mansun were awesome.
Cut Copy - Much cheesier 80's style electro than I'd expected, possibly too cheesy for my liking.
Part Chimp - Like being skullfucked by a triple coil pickup. I quite like this so far.

Views on these bands and why I'm wrong and should listen for longer?
