Can a band be flawless?

prole-art-threat [Edit] [Delete] 10:30, 20 December '05

As we all know music is subjective and what other people like that we dont usually denotes their prowess between the sheets. But really, on a grown up academic note, can the bands (yes yes and solo artists and stuff)we hold so dear to our aching and happy hearts really be flawless in our eyes like a child who can do no wrong or are we man enough to admit that all idols have clay feet. I'll start - The Fall have at least 6 lazy flatulent and uninspiring albums and the do far too mny covers as singles. 'Funeral' by the 'fire hase far too many conventional tracks on it to make it a 'classic', Broadcast have ruined their sound but slimming down and sound one dimensional - etc....

Can anyone else force to admit that their great loves have chinks that give them their charm
