I'm sure some of the regulars will have given a listen to the work of Power Up! who is a DiS board user. But seeing as the regulars number about 50 people and the non-regulars number many thousands, I invite you all to cast your ears over:

a very off kilter chopped up electro thing. think mogwai being remixed by aphex twin. the guitars and pianos purr and chime under beats that scrape and stutter and argue with themselves. a very noisy argument.

the man himself will tell you these are mostly works in progress but there's more ideas in there than a lot of current electronica. Give this man a year or so and I reckon he will be doing something rather special.

Plus, by virtue of the fact that Power Up! hasn't yet figured out how to play live it looks like listening to the recordings is gonna be the only way people will hear him.

AND you can download all the tunes so you can listen to them 'on the go' - like on the train, bus, in the car, on the running machine at the gym, or in the vegetable garden!
