Why aren't The Postal Service the biggest band in the world?

Panic [Edit] [Delete] 18:38, 26 March '06

This has me stumped. I know Dntel and Gibbard are not touring soon or making new material but how come this band seems to be unknown while at the same time widely known?

What I mean is I can say The Postal Service to friends and they'll have no clue what I'm talking about; but EVERYWHERE on the internet people seem to like them. Metallers on last.fm will have Postal Service in their charts, "Such Great Heights" is the most played track on last.fm for billions of years. Hell, even Brainlove AND Wrightley like them.

So, why are they not the biggest band in the REAL world?
