seriously this worries me. this time last year we had TWO good bright eyes albums, low, arcade fire and patrick wolf was released (i think) although I hadn't heard it.

what am i missing?

I know the new fieries album is amazing and will snuckle itself down behind my brain forever in time. But there must be some other stuff out there.

my favourite album length cd I've got recently was a cd-r sweet baboo sent me. I've listened more to napoleon IIIrd than anything else this year and he's not even got an album out.

what's going out? who's out there writing great melodic songs with great lyrics?

oh yeah I just remembered that the belle and sebastian album was on good form. so that's reassuring.

but what else? the euros album is merely okay. come on.
