What do the fans of the Vines think of it? I've just downloaded it and I'm not over-impressed. As a Pop album, its great, but I think they're capable of more. For me, Highly Evolved was an epic, and Winning Days was excellent for what it was.

I think with the first record, they got the balance perfect: fantastic slow ballads alongside enjoyable grunge. The second took an acoustic seat, and got slated for it... But with Vision Valley, it sounds like they're so desperate to regain their popularity, by releasing a record full of 2 minute shoutings. Whenever a song sounds like it could be good, and going somewhere, it ends. I liked the title track, and haven't heard it all yet, but what I have, I'm not too pleased.
