how rock used to be

zappajony23 [Edit] [Delete] 15:38, 18 April '06

Have just bought the new Ian Gillan album Gillan's Inn and i am so impressed that i felt the urge to share this great find.

Now this is how rock music should sound - long live the guitar solo, and none better illustrated than by the rock legends who feature on guitar here like the blind but brilliant Jeff healey, Tony Iommi, Joe Satriani and many more of Gillan's cronies.

Gillan in case you don't know is/was singer with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple and has THE ultimate rock voice.

CD also comes with a brill dvd loaded with fun extras, am only half way through tem but currently having fun with choosing who i want to solo on smoke on the water. their are 4 different solos done by some incredible guitarists... go buy this - and 4 those about to rock... i salute u ;)
