Got their double CD EP collection to review and I was just wondering what other people think of them?

To be honest I really don't like it too much, but then I have had very little exposure to their particular style of music, or the social, musical and even historical context it was written in and therefore have very little basis for comparison or real judgement. I just generally hate anything from the 80s that sounds like it was from the 80s and have thus far avoided listening to anything that does that much.

So either tell me that I'm right in thinking they are a bunch of useless whimsical druggy weirdos with a nice studio, or wax lyrical about how original and wonderful they are, or something.
