...I'm watching this Snow Patrol thing on Channel 4 (judge me if you like but I was a fan of their early stuff!)

Anyway Edith Bowman is presenting it. I usually manage to avoid her. Is she always this annoying?

She basically seems to have this pretentious bollocks script vaguley akin to the pseudo-philosopher on the Day Today. I've no idea if it's supposed to be amusing or not but it really fucking grates.

Why do ALL music TV shows have presenters that make me not wanna watch them (Cat Deeley, Edith Bowman, Jools Holland - basically everyone bar Simon Amstell)? Is there some kind of TV regulation that all alternative music programming (alright, Snow Patrol aren't alternative) must be balanced out by having a presenter who'll alienate the maximum number possible viewers?
