I've been conducting some fairly intense research into this recently (well, I've had a few beers in the last half hour and listened to Ride The Tiger, What's In The Box and C'Mon Kids), and I've ascertained that the Boo Radleys were definitely the best band in that initial wave of Britpop bands. Oh no wait, it was Teenage Fanclub. Or was it Ride... hmm. No, I'm stickig with the Boos, as I'd forgotten/never quite realised up 'til now how good they were feedback-heavy indie pop.
