The cover photo of Bowie's Low was the second album in a row to use a still from The Man Who Fell To Earth. But the burnt orange Thomas Jerome Newton here is so far removed from phoney space craft photo on Station to Station you knew Low wasn't going to sound anything like what he'd done before. In fact, many of my favorite albums have great artwork adorning the jacket. How important is this to your listening pleasure? Can a terrible/wonderful album cover bias your judgement of the music itself?

The idea for this thread came to me as I sit here looking at the Pixies' Bossonova. I can practically hear Allison or Velouria just seeing the album sleeve.
