excuse me if someone else has already berated said band but...

...I found myself listening cheerfully to said band last night, and then started noticing the lyrics. And then started thinking "christ this is awful and sounds like an english version of Dashboard Confessional with a few bonus bleeps etc".

was I right or just in a bad pre-Monday mood?
