although i can't stop listening to it, it occurs to me that the new scott walker album is possible the hardest album to get through i've ever heard. it's just do incredible dense and unforgiving, with absolutely no bones handed out to the audience to make things easy.

so, any other records that people think are incredible hard to listen to? i'm not looking for stuff you just think is shit, but stuff like nico's marble index, stuff that you know is incredible but that is so affecting it really can't be background music.
