Music Social More…

Is the NME being ironic

Panic [Edit] [Delete] 12:52, 31 May '06

or just fucking moronic?

Firstly they print this, http://www.nme.com/reviews/hot-chip/7944 , review of Hot Chip's latest which features such gems as "avant-garde West-Coast hip-hopper Madlib", "people who make dance music are nerds, highbrows, emotionless eggheads. All of them irredeemable knob-twiddling white coats, coolly dabbling with the DNA of music itself. End of story," "the finest album of electronic rock since Mylo's 'Destroy Rock & Roll'".

Then they have a feature on Preston *spits* where he says, and I quote, "most bands today are about as punk as a wooden spoon". The Ordinary Boys=anarchic, clearly.

This magazine is an insult to music.
