Apparently, Lost Vagueness has been cancelled. And it's clearly not going to be the first one to go, let's be honest.

Every idiot with a field and a couple of quid is currently going 'Come to my festival!' to the extent where I for one actually no longer have any real idea of what the hell is going on, and where, and when, and who is playing what. it's getting ridiculous now, it really is.

Or are they ideal ways of fighting the touts? The touts can't sell tickets for events they've got no real clue about!

I don't doubt that some of the festivals are started for the love of music, and the desire to have a good time. But now there are so bloody many, that I can't be arsed to decide which ones are and aren't. And bar a couple of unique acts at each one, most of them are practically that same.

Erm. Anyway. Lost whatsit has been cancelled.
