what are yours? things that ALWAYS, without fail, send you back to a particular era. could be from ten months or ten years ago... things that make you think of happy summers gone by.

currently i cannot stop listening to janet jackson 'design of a decade' stuff, and most of fountains of wayne's 'utopia parkway', as well as old bits i remember from the early 90s, when life actually did exist in mtv-induced LA sepia, like salt 'n' pepa, SWV and..er... all 4 one. it's only a matter of time before aswad creep into proceedings. it's kind of horrifying, but deeply satisfying. and i suspect this is all paris hilton's fault.
