There's a UK Antifolk gig at the Buffalo tonight. £5 entry, 10 bands, 7 'til late.

Highlights will probably include Suzanne Andrade (on about 7:30) Filthy Pedro (on about 8:30) Horsebox (on about 9) and The Ghosts (Television Personalities drummer Matthew Sawyer's other band), who are on about 10:20.

By a strange, complete and utter coincidence (entirely unrelated to me posting this), a guy called Paul Hawkins (who just so happens to me) is playing with his backing band for the first time. He's on at 9:45, and has songs available to listen to at www.myspace.com/tradinginsults.

Whilst I freely admit I'm trying to drum up interest 'cos I'm playing, some of the other acts genuinely are really, really good. And, if you're bored and in London and have nowhere else to go, it might well be a fun evening.
