inspired by Wishpig's thread about favourite Sonic Youth songs I 'dug out' Goo for 'old time's sake' and enjoyed listening to one of my fave songs 'Tunic' (song for Karen) which of course we all know is about karen Carpenter. In one part she's letting Rcihard Carpenter know that 'she's doing fine in heaven' and 'everyone is here' and runs through a list that includes 'Dennis' referring to Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys - however Karen Carpenter died in January 1983 and Dennis Wilson died in DECEMBER 1983 so surely karen couldn't have met him in heaven? Still doesn't ruin my love of the song.
