Find A Rap Star A Band

Stealthy [Edit] [Delete] 17:10, 19 June '06

I read that Snoop Dogg article on the news page, right? It seems like every major (mainstream) rap artist releasing an album this year has had the same 8 people guesting on it. I heard that from September onwards, it will be mandatory for all R&B and Hip-Hop releases to have Black Eyed Peas on in some form or another.

I vote that these hip-hop artists should be assigned a super slick band to help weed out the laziness of inviting that bitch from Black Eyed Peas to go "la la la" on your latest single.

Specifically, I would like to see Snoop Dogg and Method Man get down with say... Bongzilla or Cephalic Carnage. Now that'd be a spicy meatball...

Busta Rhymes would be allied with Candiria for crunchy grooves and crunchy rhymes.

Even singers like Beyonce could get in on the act, ditching her souless session (actually, her band is awesome) for a group more in the vein of John Zorn's Naked City. She could take the place of that screaming Japanese guy - it'd be awesome.
