Just something I've been thinking about recently. For example I really love the volcano! album, but I've probably only listened to it a handful of times because it's a kinda exhausting album - it has to have my full concentration and I don't always feel like listening to it... but I DO love it.

Last year I probably listened to the DFA1979 album more than any other just because I suited my mood or whatever, and it's a bit no-brainer fun. But it wouldn't have actually been my favourite album of the year, or even, like, in the top 10... Does that make any sense?
