Firstly I have to admit that I am a little underexposed to Sonic Youths enormous back catalogue so please excuse my 17-year-old-sounding ignorance of the band.

I am finding myself being totally blown away by their latest offering.

Clearly it lacks the uncontrollable feedback, track length and experimentalism of old where they made their name.

So where do I go next in uncovering a band I should've tried to get into years ago?
