they never seem to go down very well do they?

was reminded of this when the strokes (last might at wireless) played new songs everyone stood around, but went mental when they played "last night" etc.

being in a band i know how much more fun it is play new stuff, but everyone always wants to hear the oldies.

anyone ever been really impressed by a bands new material live? i'm talking about on very first listen here.

or should bands only play greatest hits (boring)
