Probably a stupid question but what is your prefered bass playing style. Fingered, picked, slapped or even bowed. For me its got to be fingered as slapped only works well on occasions, ive never been to keen on picks with basses (it seems too forced) and fingered just works well - particuraly in jazz fusion.
