All this record collection marlarky has got me thinking

Why do most people put their stuff in alphabetical order? I'm as anal as the next man (guffaws), but when I'm choosing something to listen to I don't think "hmmmmm... I fancy listening to something beginning with P"

Shirley it's better to put it in genre? That's what I do. So if I'm thinking "I fancy listening to something a bit lyrical, and go to hunt out a Decemberists album, I'd then see a Neutral Milk Hotel album and think "Pah! To hell with you Mariners Revenge Song, I fancy the Mangum man instead"
