This isn't a slagging post, I think it's good and healthy to be enthusiastic about good new music, but sometimes on here people are like "THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD" and then I listen to it and it's just like...what? How did you get so excited about that? and it puts me off even bothering next time someone goes on about another band. Which is why I'm usually late to the genuinely great stuff (like I dunno, Sufjan Stevens)
